What we do

The lesson is run with as many visual materials as possible, we create & supply visual documents & guides for future references.

For example: we take a snapshot of your home page, draw notes around the page, using it as a centre point, the diagram clearly displays quick help on how to edit each portion.

All prepared beforehand, before the lesson takes place and also reference to it in the lesson, just like your staff members would in the future when we are not there. This best prepares your staff for the future management of your website.

By the end of the lesson, the Reference Notes will be the first point of call for your CMS website update team. They will be able to quickly reference and remember how to update your website by looking back at the reference materials we supply you with.

Remote Training and Support
One of our great abilities is to support people over the internet. We can support and do training over the internet and phone simultaneously.

We have an application that allows us to share the same computer, so it becomes very similar to doing a live demonstration, just that we are not in the same place.

As long as ADSL is connected to the remote office it works nicely.

Bonus
Upon request we will install Google Analytics for you. Google Analytics is a great Web Statistics and set you up with monthly Visual PDF Reports free of charge.

As we use Joomla ourselves, we have found some add-on components that make life a lot easier.

We highly recommend having us install these;

    • This improves how high your website lists in Google search results

  5. JHide - allows you to put content in your pages that will only display if the user is logged in.
  6. JoomlaXplorer - server based advanced file management, good for emergencies.
  7. DOC.Man. - Only if you wish to use an advanced document manager, eg. passwords to access, members only.
  8. Google Analytics - allows you to great visual web statistics.

You & We Need Access

In any case, you definitely want to prepare and save Admin account access details to your Joomla website, regardless if you get training from us.
Recommended: Keep a company document with all developer and administration system details.

Info: cPanel, or a generic web-host admin panel, is the main system on your Web Host Server.
It would allow us to access your Database, create a direct file access account (FTP) and allow other admin tasks.

  • Onsite Training we charge for Travel over 15 mins each way
